We are pleased to publish Sara Salyers of Auchtermuchty SNP’s statement entitled \”Response to Independent Research Produced for the Scottish Government on Unconventional Gas and Oil Extraction, UGOE, (including hydraulic fracking), November 2016\”.
This statement takes an in depth and detailed look at the Scottish Government\’s recent published research into UOGE, raises various issues we feel need to be highlighted regarding this research, and calls on the Scottish Government to uphold its promise to never lift the moratorium on fracking unless it can be shown beyond doubt to be safe.
